GIFTING THE BRIDAL PARTY
Give something special they’ll cherish forever
A bride’s wedding day is the best day of her life. It’s the day she’ll promise her love and life to her soul mate. It’s the day that her best friends and family have spent countless hours helping her prepare for and now will celebrate alongside her. The wedding day is all about the bride and groom, but the preparations are a team effort.
On my wedding day, I called in many favors from my best friends and favorite cousins that served as my bridesmaids. I was a mess and couldn’t stop thinking about how many things could go wrong. They never told me I was overreacting or criticized me for nearly having a panic attack in the beautician’s chair while having my hair done. They just stood by my side, patted my hand gently, and told me everything was going to be perfect. And they were right. Everything went perfectly, and I’ve been happily married for 10 years.
I’m glad I gave them each a special gift for all of their love and support that day. My bridesmaids’ gifts were simple pearl necklaces that could be worn with their dresses down the aisle or on a night out. I wore a South Sea pearl necklace down the aisle, a wedding gift from my husband, so I wanted them to have something nice to wear with their dresses. More importantly, I wanted them to have something special to remember this occasion for years to come.
You don’t have to look too hard for gift ideas to offer customers. Here are some great options (and some of my personal favorites) to consider for bridesmaids, groomsman, flower girls, and parents:
Personalized Couple
Personalized pieces are always a popular choice, and they come in many forms. It can be engraving a name or initials on a pair of cuff links or selecting a necklace in your attendant’s initial or birthstone. Classics such as pearls never go out of style and make excellent gifts. Or, branch out with a trendy gemstone piece. You can have halo-style jewelry for the girls and engraved shield pendants for the guys. And if your customer selects an engraved item, Stuller can help with any request.

The Matching Bride
If your bride wants to create a matching look, there are a variety of options. She either wants to have her maids’ jewelry compliment the wedding theme or something similar to her jewelry and gown. If you’re looking for a complementing color palette, suggest birthstone jewelry, such as a simple bezel or halo-style setting, then mix and match color options. There are also vintage-style pieces to reflect the antique-looking lace in the bride’s dress, featuring elements such as filigree and open work styling. And if these options aren’t appealing, there’s always the tried and true classic pearl studs or a station necklace. For the flower girl, we have children’s pearl studs too.

Religious Ceremony
For the couple that is deeply religious and wants to reflect their faith in the gifts to the attendants, suggest a simple or detailed cross pendant or medal. These are some of my personal favorites:

A wedding is a special time, so have a selection in your store for the couple to choose from. It may also be a good idea to suggest wedding party gifts when the bride or couple is in to purchase their wedding bands, as they’ll already be considering their options.
